Spring Down Equestrian Center’s ‘Saddle Club’

Come and join the new ‘Saddle Club’ at Spring Down Equestrian Center.

This new riding club will resume in May of 2011 if there are sufficient members, on Sundays from 12:00 to 3:00. We invite you to be part of the club whether you are a beginner starting to ride or at an intermediate level. All we ask is that you LOVE horses and want to be around them and learn. Come meet special friends who have the same interest and love this sport. Our seasoned instructors will coach you in your riding, demonstrate all aspects of horsemanship each week such as braiding, longing properly and basic first aid on horses. We promise fun and games, crafts and hands on activities. We will need to have at least 5 members each week to resume meetings - so sign up in the Spring for a new chapter of Spring Down's Saddle Club!

Example of a day with the Saddle Club:

12:00 - Meet as a group for lunch and horsemanship lecture
12:45 - Groom your assigned horse and riding lesson
2:00 - Un tack your horse and a demonstration from instructor
2:30 - Art and Crafts or a horse game (Scavenger Hunt, Horse Jeopardy etc…)
3:00 - Review next meeting and adjourn
