Carol found Starzy in 2001 for a family who rode at Spring Down. Carol trained Starzy, and she was a star: good at jumping, flat, and drill team. Her owners went on to try the rated shows, so Starzy left. In September 2010, Carol saw them, and asked about Starzy. They said she was retired in pasture, but didn’t appear happy. So the happy ending is that Starzy is back, still a star, and loves having her job back! |
