Riding Lessons

Lesson Information

At Spring Down our motto is:  “experience the world through the eyes of the horse”

Have a friend already riding at Spring Down? Ask them to refer you for 10% off your first lesson!

Children as young as three and adults only as old as they feel they are, are all welcome to not only to come and learn how to ride a horse but also learn how horses think and perceive the world. Whether your goals are to excel in the show ring, or to simply learn to ride comfortably in the arena, our trained instructors can customize a program to meet your needs. The goal of our lesson program is to create ongoing experiences that you will always remember. At Spring Down, you are sure to improve your riding skills but perhaps more importantly, make friends and gain an even deeper respect and love for our four legged friends.

By taking lessons at Spring Down, students have access to over 35 professionally trained show quality school horses.  Just like people, each horse has its own unique personality and each horse has a lesson to teach us as riders and as people. Learning to ride a horse is an experience words cannot describe, learning to ride a horse in a safe, professional and fun environment is what Spring Down does best.

Riding a horse is a full body and mind workout, and at Spring Down we believe in developing the “whole” rider in a safe and professional family oriented environment.

Spring Down offers comprehensive instruction in the following areas:

Our facilities are open 7 days a week for day and evening lessons in one of two beautiful, lighted all-weather arenas.
